Part 1

The Context of the 'bhagwat geeta'
The Bhagavad Geeta is a sacred scripture to Hindus all over the world, Hindus consider it to be the word of mouth of Lord Krishna,And it was first propagated on the battlefield in a place called Kurukshetra in India about 5000 years ago today

Battelfield of kurukshetra

The battle of Kurukshetra took place at a place called Kurukshetra in India about 5000 years ago, Kurukshetra is located next to Delhi ,This battle took place between the Kauravas and the Pandavas,
The Kauravas were the cousins of the Pandavas , In this battle Lord Krishna himself led the Pandava side with Arjuna,
And Duryodhana led the Kauravas
Krishna is enlightening Arjuna

Battlefield of Kurukshetra, where Pandavas and Kauravas aim their weapons at each other and preparing  for battle. ,Arjuna, the leader of the Pandavas, then stood on a chariot driven by Lord Krishna.  At this time Arjuna surrendered to ignorance and delusion and expressed his reluctance to join the war to Lord Krishna.
And he told Lord Krishna that he did not want to kill his relatives on the battlefield
(One thing needs to be mentioned here that Kauravas and Pandavas were related to each other),. And he said that he did not want his hands to be stained with the blood of his relatives. And with this blood-stained hand he did not want to conquer the kingdom or enjoy that conquered kingdom. And then Lord Krishna Himself, through His word of mouth, removed all the doubts and contradictions in Arjuna's mind and encouraged Arjuna to go to war.
The words uttered by him  are known as the Bhagavad Geeta , And at this time Lord Krishna Himself removed all the darkness and fascination of Arjuna's mind through the words of his Geeta
And showed Arjuna his great form(virat rupa)
'Virat rupa' of Sri krishna
